Terms & Conditions of Using Islamic Community Hall

  1. The hire shall be notified 3 weeks in advance and the fee must be paid and payment receipt must be sent via email to ISD prior to the event.
  2. Ensure that toilets are flushed; hand basins are cleaned, and floors are swept.
  3. Time booked must include an allocation for setting up and cleaning after use.
  4. Community Hall needs to be cleaned and vacated by 12 midnight. If not cleaned $100 will be deducted from the Bond money.
  5. No cigarette butts are to be left in the car park or anywhere on the ground.
  6. All rubbish should be collected in bags and placed in the designated wheelie bins on the premises.
  7. Please ensure noise does not cause annoyance or disturbance to nearby residents.
  8. Facility area parking must not contravene any traffic regulations.
  9. On leaving, all users are responsible for the security of the Community Hall.
  10. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. For any cancellations, the booking fee will not be refunded except for emergency situations at ISD’s discretion.
  11. Any complaints arising from the usage of the hall may result in the refusal of future hall hires.
  12. If the Community Hall key is collected then it is the host’s responsibility to hand over the key to ISD
    authority within 24 hours. And if the key is lost then $150 will be charged from the bond.
  13. Failure to comply with the above conditions may result in refusal of future usage.
  14. Bookings are not allowed for any un-Islamic activities and organisations in conflict with ISD’s activities.
  15. ISD management reserves the right to decline the booking for events/organisations that conflict with ISD’s activities/events/services/constitution.
    I/We have read and understood the above conditions apply to the hire of the hall and undertake to
    abide by and comply with them.
